Preparations for the grand event of Mahakumbh 2025 are going on in full swing in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. In the tent city that is being built for Mahakumbh, tents of three different categories are being made. Which is being developed keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees. The rent of different types of tents will range from Rs 1500 to Rs 35000.
Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. Along with 6 partners, it is going to set up a tent city in Arail in which the devotees coming to take bath in Mahakumbh will get all the facilities like a 5 star hotel. Three different categories of tents are being made here, which include Villa, Maharaja, Swiss Cottage. Apart from these, dormitory tents are also being made whose fare will be minimum.
The six partners of UPSTDC who are helping in creating the special tentcity include Aagaman, Kumbh Camp India, Rishikul Kumbh Cottage, Kumbh Village, Kumbh Canvas and Era. The special thing about this tent city is that it is being built keeping in mind the world class level facilities. The fare here has also been fixed on a daily basis, which will range from Rs 1500 to Rs 3500, and if you stay with an extra person, you will have to pay Rs 4-8 thousand more.
45 crore visitors from 75 countries
The tent city that UPSTDC is building is being built especially keeping in mind the foreign guests. It is feared that more than 45 crore visitors from 75 countries may come to Mahakumbh 2025. Therefore, these have been prepared keeping in mind the world class level facilities. This tent city will be operated from January 1 to March 5. These can be booked through the official website of UPSTDC or Mahakumbh app.
These will be the facilities
In this tent city, villa tents will be built in 900 square feet area, super deluxe tents in about 500 square feet area, deluxe blocks in 250 to 400 square feet area. These will have AC, double bed, mattress, sofa set, customized interiors, writing desk, electric geyser, fire extinguishers, quilt, blanket, mosquito net, Wi-Fi, common and dining areas.
