Every possible effort is being made to safely rescue 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel near Silkyara in Uttarkashi. For this, the rescue operation continues even on the 9th day. Food, water and medicines are being supplied to the workers inside the tunnel. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on phone. During this, PM Modi took information from CM Dhami about the ongoing relief and rescue operations to evacuate the workers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Central Government is definitely providing rescue equipment and resources to get the workers out safely. He said that with the coordination of central and state agencies, all the workers will be taken out of the tunnel safely. Along with this, the PM asked the workers to maintain morale and courage.

PM took information about the situation

Here, while giving information to PM Modi, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that state and central agencies are engaged in relief and rescue work. He told that all the workers trapped in the tunnel are completely safe. They are being provided oxygen, nutritious food and water. Along with this, CM Dhami also said that agencies are working for relief and rescue operations after taking the opinion of experts.

Medical team deployed on the spot

According to CM Dhami, he himself went to the spot and took stock of the situation and is constantly monitoring the situation. Along with this, as a precautionary measure, a medical team has also been deployed on the spot, so that if needed, medical facilities can be provided to the workers without any delay. Along with this, he said that every possible effort is being made to evacuate all the workers safely.

The accident happened on Diwali day

Let us tell you that on the day of Diwali, an accident took place in a tunnel under construction in Uttarkashi. In which 41 laborers were trapped inside. Drilling work is being done to remove them. For this, a temporary road is being built, the work of which is in the final stage. It is expected that soon the workers will be taken out of the tunnel.
