BJP MP and actress Hema Malini has given her response to the ‘Sansad Chalo’ campaign of CJP (Cockroach Janta Party) which started from Jantar Mantar on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament. He said that such demonstrations do not solve any problem and a solution should be found through dialogue on every issue. Hema Malini says that the central government has already taken many steps for the youth and education system, hence there is no justification for the current protest. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut also expressed her opinion on the protest outside the Parliament.
What did Hema Malini say about the protest?
When Hema Malini, who reached Parliament, was asked by the journalists about the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar, she said in clear words, “If there is any problem then it should be discussed properly. Nothing will be achieved by protesting like this. As far as the youth of the country and the education system is concerned, our Modi government has always stood by them and has worked a lot for them. In such a situation, what you are protesting now makes no sense.”

What is CJP’s ‘Sansad Chalo’ campaign?
Protests have been going on at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for the last one month under the leadership of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Organization leader Abhijeet Dipke and his supporters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The protesters are continuously agitating on issues related to the education system.
What happened on the first day of monsoon session?
On July 20, the first day of the monsoon session, protesters tried to march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament as part of the ‘Sansad Chalo’ campaign. In view of this, security arrangements were tightened in Central Delhi. Restrictions were imposed in many areas and passengers also faced problems due to closure of some metro stations.

How did Kangana Ranaut react to the demonstration?
BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut also raised questions on the demonstration. He said, “Our parliamentary session is held so that we can discuss all the issues in detail. It is not right to create ruckus, create disruption and demonstrate like this.” He further said, “The public has elected the government and it is their right to decide how the government will be run. If you have so much confidence in your words, then contest the elections yourself.” Kangana also said, “You cannot put pressure on the government and decide who should be removed and who should be kept. This kind of pressure cannot be accepted.”
Which film stars supported the demonstration?
While BJP MPs Hema Malini and Kangana Ranaut opposed the protest, many actors from the film industry have supported the movement. Senior actress Shabana Azmi reached Jantar Mantar and expressed solidarity with the protesters. Apart from this, many artists including Prakash Raj, Poonam Pandey also supported the protest. Whereas Soni Razdan, Zeenat Aman, Abhay Deol, Sonakshi Sinha, Omi Vaidya, Imran Khan, Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah expressed their views in support of the demands of the protesters through social media.
