MP News: Will the public welfare camps to be held from June 12 change the lives of millions of people? Will we now get the benefits of government schemes directly? Will there be immediate solution on CM helpline? Will there be major action on pending complaints? Will people get relief in every district?

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh government is preparing to provide big relief to the citizens of the state. Three-day ‘Public Welfare Camps’ will be organized in every development block and urban body headquarters of all the districts between June 12 and 18 in the state. The objective of these camps is to provide direct benefits to the eligible people deprived of public welfare schemes of the government and to provide quick solution to their problems.

People eligible for various beneficiary-oriented schemes of the Central and State Governments run by the government but till now deprived of benefits will be identified with the help of departmental field staff. After this, the process of their registration, approval and benefit distribution will be completed on priority basis.

Along with government schemes, applications for toilet scheme will also be accepted.

Apart from the schemes of various departments in the public welfare camps, applications will also be taken for Individual Household Toilets (IHHL) under Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural). After registering the eligible beneficiaries, their applications will be resolved. The government’s effort is to provide all the necessary services and benefits of schemes to the people at one place.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave special instructions to the officials

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the General Administration Department has issued instructions in this regard to all Divisional Commissioners, Collectors, Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats, Municipal Corporation Commissioners and officials of urban bodies. It has been said in the instructions that the roster of the camps should be prepared in such a way that Collector, Additional Collector, District Panchayat CEO and District Officers of various departments are present in the camps. Officers should review departmental schemes, complaints and pending cases on the spot and ensure immediate resolution of maximum cases.

Complete action plan will be recorded on CM helpline portal

The applications received during this campaign and the process of their disposal will be conducted through the CM Helpline portal. For this, a separate module is being prepared on the portal, in which special login facility will be provided to the officers. Officials have been instructed to enter the dates of camps, appointment of nodal officers and other important information on the CM Helpline portal. Besides, a special campaign will also be run to resolve the pending cases of CM Helpline, Public Service Guarantee Act, revenue cases and other public complaints.

Focus will be on quick resolution of pending cases

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that as many pending applications as possible should be resolved in a time bound manner. Departmental stalls will be set up in the camps, where information about schemes, application, registration and service delivery facilities will be available to the citizens. Along with this, an exhibition will also be organized to showcase the development plans and achievements of the Central and State Government. Benefit distribution programs, beneficiary interactions, presentation of success stories and public awareness activities will also be organized in the camps.

There will be better facilities at camping sites

The government has directed that proper arrangements for shade, drinking water, sanitation and other basic facilities should be ensured at the camping sites, so that the citizens do not face any kind of problem.

Emphasis on participation and publicity of public representatives

The Chief Minister said that for those applications which cannot be resolved immediately, a time limit should be set and information should be given to the applicants. Besides, regular monitoring of such cases will also be done. District Collectors have been entrusted with the responsibility of successful organization of camps, departmental coordination, timely disposal and delivery of benefits of schemes to the eligible people. The camps will be widely publicized through various mediums so that more and more people can take advantage of it.

The government has also directed that before organizing the camp, approval of the minister in-charge of the district should be taken and participation of local public representatives should be ensured. The district administration has also been given the freedom to innovate and take new initiatives as per local needs, so that the goals of the campaign can be achieved within the stipulated time.

Nodal officer appointed at state level

Nodal officers have also been appointed at the state level for effective operation of the campaign, providing necessary information and solving problems. The objective of the government is that every eligible citizen of the state can avail the benefits of all the schemes to which he is entitled.
