The alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena has got majority in Maharashtra. The state will soon get a Chief Minister. In such a situation, the 6th installment of Ladki Bahin Yojana, which has become the main issue in election rallies, is being discussed. Under this scheme, the government had given the fourth and fifth installments in October itself. In such a situation, it is being speculated that the 6th installment of the scheme will be released in December.
There was a lot of discussion about this scheme run by Eknath Shinde in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Election analysts believe that this scheme played an important role in giving majority to BJP and Shiv Sena. Before the elections, the government had promised to increase the amount received from this scheme by Rs 1500 after winning. Therefore, it is believed that the 6th installment of the scheme may come in December.
Next installment to be released in December- Aditi S Tatkare
Aditi S Tatkare, who was the Women Development Minister in the Eknath Shinde government of Maharashtra, had said that the next installment i.e. 6th installment of Ladli Bahin Yojana will be released in December. He had said on social media platform X on 19 October 2024 that this scheme will continue in future also. He had said that this scheme will be running from July 2024. Under this, Rs 1500 is being sent to the eligible women of Maharashtra every month in their Aadhaar linked bank accounts and the installment till November has been sent. Apart from this, this scheme will continue further and the next installment will be released in December.
Eligibility for Ladki Bahin Yojana
Ladki Bahin Yojana has been started in Maharashtra Government from July 2024. Under this scheme, eligible women of Maharashtra are given financial assistance of Rs 1500-1500 every month. The first eligibility for this scheme is that the applicant should be a woman and she should be a resident of Maharashtra state. The age of the applicant should be between 21-65 years and apart from this the applicant’s bank account should be linked to Aadhaar. The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 2,50,000. Outsourced employees and women working on contract with income up to Rs 2,50,000 can also apply for this scheme.
