In such a situation, it is natural for every student and parent to be worried, but the matter of relief is that there will be no break in your re-evaluation work due to change of chairman and secretary. It has been made clear by senior CBSE officials and Controller of Examinations that the process of re-verification of copies is being made completely secure and transparent. Transfer of officers is an action of the government, which will not affect the re-valuation of copies. The team that checks copies and your entire system will continue to work as before. After this big action, the board has now become more alert regarding the checking of copies.

When is the last date of CBSE r-evaluation?

The real reason for the delay in getting the results to the students is the digital copies checking (On-Screen Marking – OSM) software used this year. Due to shortcomings in this system the entire schedule has already gone haywire. The re-evaluation portal which was to be launched earlier, kept getting postponed due to technical problems and finally went live on June 2, 2026. Now students can apply online for verification and re-evaluation of photocopy of their answer sheet till midnight of 6th June 2026. After this no form will be accepted.

When will the CBSE r-evaluation result come now?

CBSE never announces any fixed date of re-evaluation result in advance, due to which the entire admission mathematics of parents and students has become complicated. Especially for those students who dream of going to IIT, NIT and IIIT. This year, the marks of many students of science stream have been less than expected, due to which even after passing JEE Advanced, they are falling out of the 75% criteria (minimum qualification) required for IIT admission. JoSAA counseling till 10th June 2026 is the last date for choice filling of seat and college under JoSAA counselling. The first round of seat allotment is to be held by June 13, 2026.

When is CBSE R-evaluation result expected?

To maintain the confidence of students in the board’s system, CBSE is trying its best to start updating the re-evaluation numbers just before the release of the first list of JoSAA, i.e. between June 10 and 12, 2026.
