Two sons of INLD leader Nafe Singh Rathi, who was killed in an attack in Haryana, received a threatening call from an unknown number on Thursday, asking them not to talk to the media about the murder. He said, ‘The caller also sent us a picture of a weapon, in which he claimed that if we did not stop talking to the media, he would use it to eliminate the family.
Gangster Kapil Sangwan took responsibility for the murder
Kapoor Singh Rathi said that Bhupinder’s wife is a councilor and Jatinder is also a councilor in Bahadurgarh. Earlier, Haryana Police on Thursday said that it is investigating the social media post of alleged UK-based gangster Kapil Sangwan in which he has taken responsibility for the murder of Nafe Singh Rathi.
Jhajjar police said they are investigating a social media post by Sangwan allegedly taking responsibility for the murder. The post also claimed that Rathi had a close friendship with Sangwan’s rival gangster. Jhajjar Police said that we are investigating the post and the claims made in it. He said that till now a case has been registered against 15 people in the murder case.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said on Monday that the investigation into the murder of INLD’s state unit chief will be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Senior INLD leader Abhay Singh Chautala accused the BJP-JJP government of not providing security to Rathi despite the threat to his life.
