‘Why objection to Hindu festivals only’… Baba Bageshwar got angry on the statement against burning of firecrackers.

The controversy over bursting crackers on Diwali is continuously increasing. Now the statement of Acharya Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham has come out on this controversy. He said that as soon as Sanatani festival approaches, critics become active. People say that if the oil spent on lighting lamps on Diwali is distributed among the poor, then they will get welfare.

On the question raised regarding Sanatani festival Diwali, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri said that people are saying that the environment gets polluted when fireworks are done. Baba Bageshwar asked the people and said that the fireworks done in the festivals of other religions and the killing of living beings are not disturbing the environmental balance? He said that as soon as Sanatani festival arrives, some people start feeling upset in their stomach.

‘It is wrong to target Hindus’

Baba Bageshwar said that if fireworks pollute the environment and upset someone’s stomach, then if fireworks are lit all over the world on the occasion of New Year, then no one’s stomach gets upset, nor does the environment get polluted. At the same time, when Bakrid is celebrated, no one opens their mouths. How many dumb animals are killed in the name of sacrifice? If that amount is distributed among the poor, then the poor will also get welfare and violence against animals will also be avoided. He said that only Sanatan Hindu religion is targeted, this is the misfortune of the country.

No voice comes out on Bakrid – Baba Bageshwar

Bageshwar Dham’s Acharya Pandit Dhirendra Shastri further raised questions and said that fireworks are done all over the world in the New Year, then no one speaks nor does anyone voice that so many fireworks will harm the environment or when Bakrid is celebrated. Then no one can say that if goats are slaughtered in the name of sacrifice, the environmental balance will be disturbed.
