After India won the World Cup in 2011, MS Dhoni was given the honorary rank of ‘Lieutenant Colonel’ in the Indian Territorial Army. Before entering Team India, Dhoni did a government job to help his family financially. Between 2001 and 2003, he was posted as Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) at Kharagpur Railway Station in West Bengal. His first salary was only around Rs 3,000.
