Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said on Tuesday that the people of Bihar are ready for change and have resolved to exclude the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming elections. Talking to reporters after a joint meeting with Congress leaders in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav said that we have held a meeting with Congress colleagues. During this time, there was a discussion on how to free the people of Bihar from unemployment, how to free them from crime, how to stop migration in Bihar and what will be our vision.
He further said that one thing is certain that the public has made up his mind to get rid of the NDA. RJD and Congress are the lead partners in India alliance, which aims to present an united front to challenge the BJP -led coalition.
Tejashwi Yadav also said that the opposition alliance is united and is fully ready to take Bihar forward. Talking to the media, Tejashwi Yadav said that another meeting with the coalition partners will be held in Patna on 17 April. Apart from this, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, targeting the NDA, said that even after 20 years of rule, Bihar remains the poorest state, where the income of per capita and farmers is the lowest and the migration rate is the highest.
Tejashwi Yadav said that there was a positive discussion in our meeting. We will hold a meeting with other coalition parties in Patna on 17 April. We are fully ready and want to take Bihar forward. Even after 20 years of the NDA government in the state, Bihar is the poorest state where per capita income and farmers have the lowest and migration is the highest.
He said that we want to contest elections on the basis of issues. It is the duty of all of us to highlight the deficiencies of the government. On the question of the Chief Minister’s face, he said that it will be decided unanimously. He also announced that NDA will not form a government in Bihar at this time. The RJD leader said that we will discuss and unanimously decide the CM’s face.
Tejashwi said that CM Nitish Kumar has been hijacked. NDA is not forming a government in Bihar this time. Bihar Congress President Rajesh Kumar emphasized that the meeting was held in a very comfortable and easy way. Rajesh Kumar said that all decisions will be taken on different dates. We will unite and fight the NDA government. Many issues were discussed and we will move forward by moving forward.
