A shocking case has come to light from Bengaluru. The body of businessman Vaishak Upadhyay was found in an apartment late on Wednesday night. According to the police, he was living in the rented flat of actress Krushi Thapanda for the last one week and he also had a key to the flat. Initial investigation has revealed that before his death, he had sent several messages to the actress talking about mental stress, family disputes and being tired of life. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation. At the same time, Vaishak’s name also came up in a famous extortion and threatening letter case this year.
Businessman’s body found in actress’s flat
According to the police, the body of 45-year-old Vaishak Upadhyay was found hanging in a flat in Elegant Terrace Apartment in Hoskerehalli. This flat was taken on rent by actress Krushi Thapanda. It was told that Vaishak was staying there for the last one week, while the actress was out of the city. He had one of the two keys of the flat. Rajarajeshwari Nagar police have registered a case of unnatural death. At present, officials say that the incident site, mobile messages and other circumstances are being investigated so that the truth of the entire matter can be revealed.

Investigation has revealed that Vaishak had sent several messages to Krushi Thapanda informing her about his mental condition. He wrote that he is extremely fed up and tired of life and now wants to end everything. The actress tried to convince him by calling and messaging him continuously and advised him not to take any wrong step.
Had planned to go to the temple
According to the police, in their last conversation, the actress had suggested Vaishak to go to Kukke Subramanya Temple together. Vaishak had also agreed to this. However, when the actress returned to the flat, she found Vaishak dead in the bedroom. After this, information was given to the police control room at around 11:30 pm. According to preliminary investigation, Vaishak was living away from his family for the last several days. They were married for almost 15 years and have a teenage son. Police say that there was a dispute going on between the husband and wife for a long time. According to the complaint, the two were not talking for about a month and Vaishak used to inquire about the son only through messages.

In February this year, Vaishak Upadhyay was arrested in a high-profile extortion and threatening letter case. The allegation was that an anonymous letter was sent through courier to businessman and lawyer Arvind Reddy demanding an apology and payment of Rs 6 to 7 crore. During the investigation, the police arrested Vaishak in this case. Later he got bail. Police say that after this incident their family disputes had increased further.
Who is actress Krushi Thapanda?
36-year-old Krushi Thapanda belongs to the Kodava family of Coorg, Karnataka. Before joining the film industry, she worked as an assistant manager in America’s audio conferencing company InterCall. Her journey in the world of modeling and acting started with the offer of the film ‘Kahi’, although her first release was the Kannada film ‘Akira’ (2016).
