- Delhi Police said on Tuesday that another incident of stabbing has taken place in Bhagat Singh Colony of New Osmanpur. A 26 year old youth lost his life in this incident. When the police reached the spot on Tuesday morning, they found the youth dead on the ground. The deceased has been identified as Lalit, a resident of Brahmpuri, Delhi. The forensic team also inspected the spot and collected necessary evidence.
Second incident of stabbing in the same day
- Police have registered a case in New Usmanpur police station and started investigation. Police say that several teams have been deployed to work on the clues and arrest the accused as soon as possible. This is the second incident of stabbing in a single day. Earlier, a 17-year-old boy was murdered in Gautam Vihar of New Osmanpur police station area.
- People nearby told that in that case three attackers had come on a scooter and took advantage of the darkness and stabbed the boy. After this they fled from the back side of the area. The police and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also visited the crime scene and investigation into the case is ongoing.
