50-year-old Mahesh Muralidhar Pai is currently working as Chief General Manager (Digital Banking and Innovation) in Canara Bank. He has about 30 years of experience in the banking sector. During this time, he has worked in many important areas like strategy, governance, treasury, foreign exchange trading, retail banking, agricultural credit and MSME finance. He is known as an officer who has played an important role in large-scale banking operations as well as in strengthening new technology and digital services.

Mahesh Muralidhar Pai has handled many important responsibilities in his career. He led important initiatives like starting the gold loan vertical in Canara Bank. Apart from this, he also handled the responsibility of one of the largest operational areas of the bank. His international experience has also been special.
