The court sentenced Vijay Mishra, his wife Ramlali and son Vishnu to 10 years imprisonment each, while daughter-in-law Rupa Mishra was sentenced to 4 years. The allegation in the case was that the family forcibly occupied the relative’s land and house.

About 10 days later, on August 14, Vijay was arrested from Agar district of Madhya Pradesh.
