Meanwhile, a big information related to the film has come to light. According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given ‘Cocktail 2’ an ‘A’ certificate. Along with this, the runtime of the film has also been revealed. Interestingly, this has become the first adult-rated film of Kriti Sanon’s entire film career.
CBFC gives A certificate to ‘Cocktail 2’
According to reports, ‘Cocktail 2’ has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification with ‘A’ certificate. This means that the film is only for adult audiences i.e. 18 years of age or older. The runtime of the film is said to be around 150 minutes i.e. 2 hours 30 minutes. Interestingly, the runtime of ‘Cocktail’, released in 2012, was 146 minutes. Accordingly, the sequel will be about 4 minutes longer than the first part.
Kriti Sanon’s first A-rated film in her career
‘Cocktail 2’ has become the first film in Kriti Sanon’s 12-year long film career to get an ‘A’ certificate. Before this, none of his Hindi films had received this category. In such a situation, this film is being considered as a different stage in his career. Talking about Shahid Kapoor, this is the fifth ‘A’ certificate film of his career. Earlier, ‘Kaminey’, ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘O’Romeo’ also got adult rating. The special thing is that for the first time two consecutive films of Shahid have got ‘A’ certificate. ‘Cocktail 2’ is the second Hindi film for Rashmika Mandanna, which has received ‘A’ certificate. Earlier, his blockbuster film ‘Animal’ was also kept in this category.
