Often you must have seen in Bollywood and Hollywood films that a dead person comes back, that is, he is reborn. The story of Karan-Arjun, one of the superhit films of Bollywood, is exactly like this, in which both the heroes die but after some time they take another birth and remember their previous birth.
But this story of rebirth has actually happened many times, in which people remember things from their previous birth and start returning to their old place. We are going to tell you one such story, which is probably the first rebirth story of India.
She used to say again and again – I am married
In fact, a 6-year-old girl in Delhi repeatedly tells her parents that she is married, has children and also has a husband. But initially the girl’s parents consider it childish. But the girl keeps repeating the same thing again and again and insists on going to Mathura. When the news of the girl’s rebirth reached Mahatma Gandhi, he first met the girl himself, whose name was Shanti, and then appointed a 15-member commission to investigate the entire matter. When the investigation report reached Mahatma Gandhi, on the basis of it it was believed that the girl had been reborn.
Pulga was born, then the child died during birth.
Let us tell you that on January 18, 1902, a daughter was born in the house of a person named Chaturbhuj, who was living with his family in Mathura. The girl was named Lugdi. At the age of 10, Lugdi got married to a man named Kedarnath Chaubey. Kedarnath used to run a cloth shop in Mathura and this was his second marriage. Lagdi became pregnant soon after marriage but after the operation, she gave birth to a dead child. After this, in the year 1925, Lagdi once again became pregnant. But this time only the child’s life could be saved by operation and the pulp died. Pulp died at 10 o’clock on October 4 in 1925.
Shanti was born 10 months after Lagdi’s death
Exactly 10 months and 7 days after Lagdi’s death, a girl was born in Delhi. Her father Babu Rang Bahadur named her Shanti. When Shanti turned four years old, she started speaking and started saying some strange things. She often asked where her husband was, where her children were. When the family members interrogated Shanti, she told that her husband runs a cloth shop in Mathura.
Even doctors were not able to find anything out
Initially, Rang Bahadur considered it to be a whim of the girl’s mind and let it go. But as Shanti grew older, she talked more about Mathura. At the age of 6, he told that he had died after an operation. The family also consulted the doctor but nothing special was found.
When 9 year old Shanti revealed the name of her previous birth husband
When Shanti turned 9 years old, she expressed her desire to go to Mathura to her father. Although she never told her husband’s name to anyone. But she used to call herself Chauben. Then one day a relative named Babu Bishan Chand came to Rang Bahadur’s house. He calmly said that if you tell me the name of your husband then I will take you to Mathura. Then Shanti whispered in his ear, Pandit Kedarnath Choubey.
Bishan Chand wrote a letter to Kedarnath, told the story of peace
Bishan Chand traced the person of that name in Mathura and then wrote a letter. In that letter he told the whole story of peace to Kedarnath Choubey. Kedarnath was surprised after reading the letter. Then he contacted one of his relatives, Pandit Kanjimal, who lived in Delhi. Asked to meet him peacefully. Kanjimal met Shanti. He not only recognized him but also gave information about his house in Mathura. He also told that he had hidden some money in a corner of the house.
Shanti recognized Kedarnath
Kanjimal told this entire story to Kedarnath. Then Kedarnath also came to meet Shanti. But it was calmly said that he was Kedarnath’s brother. But Shanti recognized Kedarnath. Then Kedarnath asked Shanti many questions. Then Shanti told Kedarnath that there used to be a well in the courtyard of her house in Mathura. Shanti also hugged Kedarnath’s son saying that he was her son.
