This fast has been dedicated to Mahadev and Mother Parvati.

- According to Drik Panchang, Tritiya Tithi of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha will start on September 13 at 7.08 am.
- This date will end on 14 September 2026 at 07:06 am.
In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, the fast of Hartalika Teej will be observed on 14th September this year.
Puja time of Hartalika Teej (Hartalika Teej 2026 Puja Muhurat)
According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time for Hartalika Teej worship will start at 06.05 am. This auspicious time will last till 07:06. Pradosh Kaal will start at 06:28 pm on 14th September, which will last till 08:47 pm. The time of Pradosh period is considered the most auspicious for worshiping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.

On the day of Hartalika Teej, married women wake up in the morning before sunrise. Then take bath and wear clean clothes. After this remember Lord Shiva. After this go to Shivalaya. Anoint Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati with Panchamrit and take a pledge to fast. On this day, make a beautiful pavilion with flower garlands at the entrance of your house. Make statues of Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva. Install the statue in the pavilion. Then worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati as per the rituals. Read the fast story. Recite Shiva and Parvati Chalisa. Finally conclude the puja by performing aarti.
