Before the shocking burglary incident at Bandra residence in 2025, a similar break-in had once taken place at the former home of his sister, Soha Ali Khan. Back in 2011, an intruder reportedly entered her bedroom at around 4 AM, leaving the actor deeply shaken. During the incident, her husband, Kunal Kemmu, confronted the thief despite having his hand in a cast at the time.
Speaking recently during a conversation with Yuvaa, recalled how terrified she felt during the break-in and admitted that panic completely took over her reaction. “When our house was broken into, and Kunal caught the thief many years ago, I stood in the corner and cried. It wasn’t my finest moment. I want to be kind to myself by saying that it was in the middle of the night and I wasn’t prepared, but I definitely could’ve been more useful. I’m probably not the bravest person. My system tends to shut down when there’s something happening. I am working on it,” she shared.
Interestingly, years after the frightening break-in at Soha Ali Khan and residence, the family faced another shocking incident when Saif Ali Khan was attacked during a robbery attempt at his home in January 2025.
According to reports, Saif was trying to protect his family when the intruder attacked him, leaving the actor with multiple stab injuries. The incident sent shockwaves across the industry and among fans, following which Saif underwent surgeries for his injuries. The attack had sparked major concern regarding celebrity security and safety in high-profile residential areas.
