When is Mahesh Navami 2026?
According to the Panchang, this time the Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month will start from 03:40 pm on Monday, June 22, which will continue till 04:39 pm on Tuesday, June 23. Since the sunrise of Jyeshtha Shukla Navami date will be on 23rd June, hence the festival of Mahesh Navami will be celebrated on this day.

Mahesh Navami Puja Method-Mantra
– On the morning of Mahesh Navami i.e. 23rd June, after waking up early in the morning, taking bath etc., take a resolution of fasting and worship and chant this mantra-
Mam Shiv Prasad Prapti Kamnaya Maheshnavami-Nimittam Shiv Pujanam Karishye
– Follow the rules of fasting throughout the day. Don’t speak ill of anyone. Do not bring bad thoughts into your mind. Keep remembering God in your mind.
Before the puja, bring all the materials at one place and keep them. Start the worship by installing the idol or picture of Shiva and Parvati in the auspicious time.
– Apply tilak to Mahadev and Mother Parvati, garland them with flowers and light a lamp of pure ghee. Salute with folded hands.
– Offer white clothes to Lord Shiva and red clothes to Goddess Parvati. Offer things like Abeer, Gulal, Janeu, Betel nut, Bilvapatra etc.
– While worshiping, keep chanting the mantra Om Maheshvaraya Namah in your mind. After this, pray to Lord Shiva by chanting these mantras-
Jai Nath Kripasindhojay Bhaktaartibhanjan.
Jai Dustarsansar-Sagarottaran Prabho॥
Mahabhag Sansaratrasyakhidyatah in the Prasidham.
Mother God who protects all sins.
– Offer food to God and perform Aarti. In this way, worshiping Mahesh Navami brings happiness, prosperity and peace in the house.
