The wife alleges that the husband did this because he did not have a son. Besides, he is also having an affair with another girl. The victim says that she complained to the police several times, but no action has been taken yet. Now he has appealed to the SSP for justice.
The name of the victim is Meenakshi. She is a resident of Shamli, who was married 10 years ago to Nitin, a resident of Rampur Maniharan area of Saharanpur. After a few years of marriage, Meenakshi gave birth to a daughter. But her in-laws were not happy with this. According to Meenakshi, her husband and in-laws used to harass her after the birth of her daughter. Used to mentally torture and taunt.
During this time, Meenakshi started becoming very ill. She alleges that her husband neither treated her nor took care of her. He doesn’t even love his daughter. A few days later, Meenakshi’s husband dropped her at her maternal home in Shamli. During this time, when Meenakshi came to her parents’ house, she told the whole story to her family. After this, a Panchayat was held to decide the matter. His relatives and villagers were present in this Panchayat.

After a few days, Meenakshi became pregnant again and within a few months she again gave birth to a daughter. Even after the birth of the second daughter, Nitin again started harassing his wife and taunting her. Meenakshi alleges that during this time Nitin started an affair with a girl from Shamli. Now Nitin wanted to divorce Meenakshi, so he threw Meenakshi and his two daughters out of the house. On the other hand, Meenakshi also appealed to her husband’s girlfriend several times to leave her husband and not destroy his house but no solution could be found.
During this time, Meenakshi complained about her husband several times to senior police officers, but she has not got justice yet. After this the victim reached the SSP office with her daughters.
