The assembly election campaign in Maharashtra is gradually gaining momentum. After becoming vacant due to ticket distribution, political party leaders have now started appearing in the field. However, the process of convincing the rebel leaders has also intensified. Meanwhile, nationalist Sharad Pawar faction leader Sharad Pawar has given a big statement regarding the election results.
According to the report of TV9 Marathi, after meeting with party leaders in Indapur, Sharad Pawar said that we did good work in the Lok Sabha. Maharashtra was once the number 1 state. Now number 1 Maharashtra has come to number 6. The state has been neglected by the rulers. The government’s policy on cotton and sugarcane is anti-farmer.
Attack on sugar prices
He further said that the sugar produced in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and the remaining sugar is exported after meeting the needs of the country, but sugar export has been banned. Therefore, sugar prices will fall and sugarcane prices will also fall. Pawar said, when we raised the question to the central government, they replied that you think about the growers, we think about the eaters.
Speaking further, he said that when there was drought, wheat had to be imported from America. When we were in power, we increased the prices of agricultural commodities. There is a large crop of sugarcane and banana in this area. This government is anti-farmer. There is no option other than changing the government in tomorrow’s elections. Sharad Pawar has also given a symbolic statement that I go to many places, the people of the state want change. During this, he appealed to make Harshvardhan Patil win with huge votes.
Harshvardhan Patil’s displeasure on the candidates
Even before the assembly, Harshvardhan Patil has entered the nationalist Sharad Pawar faction. After this the party made him its candidate from Indapur. However, nationalist Sharad Pawar group official Harshvardhan Patil was also seen unhappy with being made the candidate in Indapur assembly constituency. After this, Sharad Pawar reached Indapur today, where he met the angry leaders.
