What will be the CM’s formula in Maharashtra? two and a half years or something

The suspense regarding CM in Maharashtra continues even after 48 hours of election results. Where the supporters of Shinde Sena are trying to pull the Chief Minister’s chair towards Eknath Shinde with their statements. At the same time, BJP supporters are saying that Fadnavis has the first right on this chair. After this, supporters of Ajit group have also come into the field with their claims.

The numerical strength is in favor of BJP, hence Devendra Fadnavis is in the lead in the race, but Eknath Shinde’s supporters feel that if the election is fought on his face, then he has the right to claim the post of CM. On the other hand, Ajit Pawar’s camp is arguing that last time he had to be satisfied with the post of Deputy CM, but this time such a formula should be made that he too becomes the CM.

CM formula will be decided in Delhi

It is believed that Maharashtra leaders may meet BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah late at night and the CM formula may be decided in this meeting. Devendra Fadnavis has also reached Delhi to attend a private program.

According to sources, during the tenure of 5 years, all three leaders i.e. Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar can become CM one by one. The formula will be 2-2-1. This means that BJP’s candidate will be the Chief Minister for two years, Shiv Sena’s candidate for two years and NCP’s candidate for one year.

Two and a half years or 2-2-1 years formula?

However, there is another problem in this. Some people also believe that the formula should not be 2-2-1 years but two-and-a-half years. For example, according to the formula that was made last time, it was decided that BJP would be the CM for two and a half years and Shiv Sena would be the CM for two and a half years, then the Chief Minister should be declared accordingly. However, what will be the final formula will be known only after the official announcement.

Interesting thing is that till now the leader of BJP legislative party has not been elected whereas Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have been elected leaders of their respective parties. Another important thing, the tenure of the state assembly is ending on 26th November. In such a situation, Mahayuti has less time and options to form the government.

Praful Patel said- All three parties have got success equally.

NCP Ajit faction leader and MP Praful Patel said that we worked as a team and success was achieved equally by all three parties. Therefore there is no question of any dispute or difference of opinion. We will have to give one or two days time. We will all sit together and find a solution. There will be no fight, as our opponents are trying to imagine.

CM Shinde may resign tomorrow

There is also discussion that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde can submit his resignation to the Governor tomorrow i.e. Tuesday. After this, Eknath Shinde will be appointed as the caretaker Chief Minister by the Governor till the formation of the new government. Then as soon as talks are reached between the three political parties regarding the CM, the oath taking ceremony will take place only after that.
