Meanwhile, in an interview, Ravi Kishan has talked about one thing which he feels that Bhojpuri cinema should learn from the films of famous South director SS Rajamouli.
Ravi said, “I am doing a film called ‘Mahadev Ka Gorakhpur’, which is a pan India film. I have full confidence that this film will change the mindset of people and all my juniors will start making good films, without unnecessary things, unnecessary dialogues and songs to run the films, things like that.”
What did you say about Bhojpuri and Rajamouli films?
Ravi Kishan said that in the last few years, Telugu film industry has started making global films like SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, RRR and Pushpa. He also said that Bhojpuri cinema should learn from Rajammouli how he changed the game of the entire industry.
Ravi Kishan also said, “We do not need cheapness in films. We should learn from Rajamouli’s films. Raj Kumar Barjatya and Yash Chopra have made many great films. And those guys didn’t have any of that kind of stuff and they did pretty well. Bhojpuri cinema should take this lesson and pay good money to the writers. The budget of the hero is enough, but the writers and technicians should also be paid well.”
Ravi Kishan further said, “Telugu and Malayalam cinema have also gone through this phase and they were also called cheap. Those people brought revolution and we should also bring it and we will bring it. I started this industry and we will revive it.”
