Amidst the tension and war that has been going on for several months in the Middle East, today i.e. 14th June is considered very important. According to reports, a big peace agreement can be signed between America and Iran. According to Bloomberg report, the basis of this agreement will be the strategy of “one step for another”. That is, first Iran is one of the most important oil routes in the world. Strait of Hormuz Will take steps towards reopening and after that America will provide economic relief to Iran.

1. Ceasefire will extend for 60 more days
The already implemented ceasefire between America, Iran and Israel can be extended for 60 days under this new deal. This will help in maintaining peace in the region and will reduce the possibility of new conflict.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important sea lanes in the world. Through this route, large quantities of crude oil and gas reach many countries of the world. This route was affected due to the war. After the deal, there is a plan to reopen it for ship movement.
3. There will be a path for dialogue on the nuclear issue
This agreement can prepare the basis for new negotiations between America and Iran regarding Iran’s nuclear program in future. However, at present the main focus is on stopping war and maintaining peace.
The nuclear program is stuck in trouble
According to the report, whenever Iran fulfills American conditions, it can get relaxation in sanctions, economic benefits and other reliefs. The US administration believes that this will increase trust between the two countries and strengthen the possibility of adhering to the agreement. However, both the biggest feature and weakness of this proposed agreement is that it does not immediately resolve Iran’s nuclear program. Instead, the issue has been left for separate talks over the next 60 days. This is why many experts are considering this agreement as a temporary arrangement rather than a permanent solution.
How will this deal happen?
According to reports, officials of America and Iran will not meet directly face to face. Representatives of both the countries will attend a virtual meeting brokered by Pakistan and Qatar. The agreement can be signed electronically in this meeting. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also indicated that this agreement can be finalized in the next 24 hours. After this, technical level talks can start next week.
