Bhopal. President Smt. Draupadi Murmu will be on a five-day visit to Madhya Pradesh from June 18 to June 22. During this time, she will participate in various important programs organized in Indore, Betul, Omkareshwar of Khandwa district, Jabalpur, Sheopur and Gwalior. Administrative preparations have been intensified for this visit of the President.
MP Visit 2026: Will participate in many programs in Indore, Betul and Omkareshwar
President Smt. Murmu will reach Indore on June 18. From here she will go to Betul, where she will participate in the program “Empowerment of Tribal Society by Spiritual Awakening” organized by Brahma Kumari Institute. After this, the President will reach Shri Omkareshwar Temple located in Khandwa district and have darshan of Lord Shiva and will participate in the Aarti organized in the temple.
International Sickle Cell Day 2026: Will be present in a special program in Omkareshwar
President Smt. Murmu will participate in a special program organized in Omkareshwar on the occasion of International Sickle Cell Day on 19th June. In this program there will be special focus on sickle cell awareness and topics related to tribal communities.
Jabalpur Visit: Participation in convocation ceremony and Yoga Day program
The President will reach Jabalpur on June 20. After this, she will participate in the program organized on the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June. After the Yoga Day program, the President will attend the 36th convocation of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur and address the students.
Kuno National Park Visit: Will visit Kuno National Park
On June 22, President Smt. Murmu will visit Kuno National Park located in Sheopur district. After visiting Kuno, she will reach Gwalior and from there leave for New Delhi.
Minister-in-Waiting: Ministers are responsible for welcoming and farewell of the President.
The state government has designated ministers as “ministers-in-waiting” to receive and see off the President in various districts during his proposed visit to Madhya Pradesh. According to the order issued by the General Administration Department, the responsibility of welcoming the President in Indore on June 18 has been handed over to Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya will be present during his farewell on June 19.
Betul and Omkareshwar Protocol: These ministers got responsibility
The responsibility of welcoming and farewelling the President in Betul on June 18 has been given to Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare Narendra Shivaji Patel. At Omkareshwar, on June 18 and 19, Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowment Minister (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Bhavsingh Lodhi will be responsible for welcoming and farewelling the President.
Jabalpur, Sheopur and Gwalior Visit: Ministers decided
Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora will receive and bid farewell to the President in Jabalpur on June 20 and 21. Similarly, this responsibility has been entrusted to New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla on 21st and 22nd June in Sheopur. Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat has been nominated to welcome and bid farewell to the President on June 21 and 22 in Gwalior.
