It also mentions the report of forensic lab. It has been told that Saif’s body, crime scene and piece found from the accused, all three are of the same knife. During the investigation, the fingerprint report of the left hand of the accused found by the police has also been mentioned.
Accused reached Saif’s house from Shariful stairs
Shariful tried to enter the main building gate but could not do so because there was a fingerprint recognition system at the gate. After this, he climbed the building from the duct area and reached the first floor. From there, she entered Saif’s apartment for stairs. He climbed 8 floor stairs. According to the charge sheet of the Mumbai Police, the bag of accused Shariful had a hexa blade, knife and hammer. He attacked Saif’s house caretaker Ilyama Philip with a knife and asked for Rs 1 crore.
After the attack, eaten bhurji-pav
Leaving Saif’s house, the accused reached Bandra West National College Bus Stop. There he changed clothes and spent the night. He kept sleeping till 7 am. Actor Saif Ali Khan was hiding in a nearby building for about an hour after the Bangladeshi citizen Mohammad Shariful Islam attack, accused of attacking his house in Bandra. Police said in the charge sheet that they had found CCTV footage, in which Shariful was seen on the sixth floor of Satguru Sharan, the house of Saif Ali Khan at 1:37 pm on January 16. The police saw several CCTV footage, out of which 6 CCTV is considered important and they are mentioned in the charge sheet.
Statements of 48 witnesses recorded
The charge sheet also states that between 5 pm and 6:45 pm on January 15, Shariful was seen in the buildings near Satguru Sharan, Bharti Villa and CCTV of Next Avenue. It is believed that he was doing Reiki at the crime site. In the footage, Shariful was found looking at the upper floors and flats. The police have recorded statements of 48 witnesses in this case, including Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Did Saif Ali Khan say?
According to the charge sheet, Saif told the police, that day I had dinner with my sons at 7:30 pm. At 10 pm I went to my bedroom. My wife Kareena returned home from work at 1:30 pm. Later, when he searched for the accused, he could not be found. According to the police, the path from which the accused had entered the house, the same way, ie, the bathroom of Jeh’s room went out.
‘Forget the attacker, first go to the hospital’
Kareena said in her statement to the police that when she and Saif reached Jeh’s room, she saw that the man in a black T-shirt was standing near her son’s bed. Saif asked the man who he is and what he wants, then the accused attacked him. Saif caught the accused to stop the attack, but he continued to attack with a knife. What did the building watchman say?
The charge sheet also includes the statement of the building watchman Suresh Kumar Yadav, who told the police that he first heard the ruckus around 2:30 pm when the Khan family and his staff members came down the ground floor down and saw Saif in an injured state.
Assembled evidence
According to the charge sheet, the police collected 29 blood samples from the scene and 20 fingerprints of the accused, including his left palm mark found on a wooden door on the eighth floor. After entering the premises, the accused climbed the first floor with the pipe and then reached the 11th floor using the stairs. He kept trying to open the door on every floor to steal, and finally reached the Duplex flat (11th and 12th floors) of the Khan family.
Saif’s blood on the T-shirt of the accused
The police have seized a total of 73 things. Saif’s blood was found on the T-shirt of the accused, while children’s blood was found on the knives used to attack. The DNA samples of both have been matched. In addition, a tissue used by the accused to wipe the blood was also found near the lift, which had blood marks and also matched in the report.
The police have also recovered the Bangladeshi voter ID card of the accused and other documents written in Bangla. During the investigation, the accused is identified as Mohammad Shariful Sajjad Ruhul Amin Fakir (age 30 years), resident of village Rajbaria, District Jillokathi, Barishal State, Bangladesh.
Reiki 12 hours before the attack

The auto driver told the police that he remembered Shariful because the fare from Bandra station to Fortune Heights was Rs 23, but the accused gave Rs 50 and did not ask for the rest of the money. Where the accused was Uttara, the place was just 78 meters away from the house of actor Saif Ali Khan.
Many CCTV footage seized
The police have seized several CCTV footage related to the incident. In one footage, Shariful has been seen descending near Fortune Heights on January 15 at around 1 pm. After this, he was also captured in cameras while walking in the area and entering the Sadguru Sharan Bhawan. At 1:37 pm on January 16, he was seen climbing the stairs and descending at 2:37 pm.
According to the police, Shariful did Reiki of the area from 3 pm to 6:45 pm on 15 January. After this, the same night he targeted the Satguru Sharan Bhawan. On January 16, at 3:37 am, the accused was seen climbing on the wall with Satguru Sharan from the Bharti Villa Building Complex.
Shocking revelations in interrogation
Accused Shariful Islam has made shocking revelations in interrogation. He admitted that he chose the path of crime to gain Indian citizenship. According to the charge sheet, the objective of the accused was to raise money, Aadhaar card, PAN card and passport. During interrogation, Shariful said that one of his companions had asked for Rs 30,000 in exchange for arranging these documents.
The main objective of Shariful behind entering India was to get Indian passport, which is considered better than Bangladeshi passports internationally, especially to get a working visa.
Residential buildings targeted
According to the charge sheet, Shariful Shehzad also told the police that he targeted such residential buildings in a planned manner, where the affluent people live, so that a large amount of money can be ensured. The intentions of the accused were exposed after Thane was arrested in the Hiranandani Estate.
