When the police got wind of the illegal sale of TET paper in Bhiwandi, they wove a surefire net to dismantle this network. Brave officers of Bhiwandi Police themselves met the brokers of this syndicate by posing as potential buyers (Fake Buyers). The arrests made while red-handed during money transactions started connecting the links. Following the clues received from the brokers, a special team of police reached Bihar. The alleged mastermind Bijendra Kumar Gupta, who was hiding there, was surrounded and arrested. The accused was immediately arrested by Bhiwandi Police and brought to Pune Airport for transit, from where he will be produced in the court and a demand for police custody will be made.
