How did Sonakshi get ‘Dabangg’?
Sonakshi herself has told about what kind of work she got in ‘Dabangg’. She told the story of getting this film in Kareena Kapoor’s podcast ‘What Women Want Season 5’. Sonakshi said, “Salman and Arbaaz saw me at Amrita Arora’s wedding. I had lost weight by then. He told me that he was writing something and I would be perfect for that role. “I didn’t take them seriously.”
Sonakshi further said, “Later he came to my house to narrate the script. My entire family sat and listened to the story. They shook hands and then left from there. After that I was on the sets of ‘Dabangg’. It seemed like an arranged marriage to me, but when I reached the set, I realized that I wanted to do this.”

Sonakshi played the role of Rajjo in ‘Dabangg’. One of his dialogues in this picture was, “Thappad se dar nahi lagta sir, pyar se lagta hai.” This dialogue became quite famous. Till now three parts of this film have been released and Sonakshi Sinha has been seen in all three.
