Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is going to hit the theaters on June 26 and even before its release, the film is gaining tremendous buzz on social media. More than 30 actors will be seen in this adventure-comedy, which is considered to be the third installment of the ‘Welcome’ franchise. Meanwhile, while Akshay Kumar has given the first review of the film and described it as a ‘full entertainer’ full of comedy, music and surprises, some viewers have raised questions on the abundance of old references in the trailer and songs. In such a situation, even before the release of the film, it is confused between positive and negative reviews.
Buzz increased before release, will ‘Welcome’ franchise be a hit again?
The comedy film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ directed by Ahmed Khan is being counted among the most talked about comedy films of the year. The film will be released in theaters on June 26. The special thing is that Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty will be seen together on the big screen after about 15 years. Both were last seen in the 2011 film ‘Thank You’.

Akshay did the first review of the film, told who stole the whole show
In a review going viral on social media, Akshay Kumar praised the film’s team. During a conversation with the film’s veteran actress Farida Jalal, Akshay praised her and said that even though her character in the film is serious, she has left the entire star cast behind in terms of comedy. In a humorous manner, Akshay said that the film has not 32 stars but 32 ‘mad’ actors, so the audience will get to see a lot of fun, chaos and entertainment.

What is the story of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’?
Akshay also hinted about the story of the film and said that the plot revolves around a conspiracy to ruin a Rs 2000 crore film, where the confusion of real and fake characters leads to many interesting and unexpected incidents. He described the film as a complete family entertainer full of comedy, music, surprises and entertainment. Also praising Farida Jalal, she said that her performance will be especially liked by the audience. Regarding the film, Akshay said that this is such an entertainer film in which comedy, music, surprise and a lot of entertainment will be seen.

Questions raised on social media, isn’t ‘nostalgia’ too much?
Mixed reactions are being seen on social media regarding the new songs and some promotional content of the film. One user wrote, “Welcome To The Jungle is now trying to capitalize on old memories more than necessary. Nostalgia is good, but adding reference to every old hit film is reducing the fun of the film. It looks less like a comedy film and more like an Insta reel.” However, supporters of the film believe that the same old ‘Welcome’ feel can draw the audience to the theatre.

The biggest strength of the film is considered to be its huge star cast. Many actors including Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krishna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda will be seen in it.
