Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that who will give 100 percent treatment to the poor of the country? Who will give jobs to unemployed people of our country? The question is not about this Aam Aadmi Party. If we lose us, we will go back to our jobs again. We left our good jobs and entered politics.
He said this during his address to the party workers in Goa. Actually, Atishi inaugurated the new office of the Aam Aadmi Party in South Goa. He said that the AAP party is fighting for the rights of the common man, not its fight. As far as AAP party leaders are concerned, all the big jobs have left, they will go back to their jobs.
At the inauguration ceremony of the party office in Madgaon, Atishi said that we are preparing to contest elections in Goa and Gujarat on our own. There has been no talk of alliance yet. He said that the people of Goa voted for bringing the Bharatiya Janata Party to power in 2022 and at the same time the Congress won 11 seats, but eight of its MLAs later joined the BJP.
BJP tried to woo our MLAs
He said that the Congress is the main opposition party with only three MLAs and the Aam Aadmi Party has two MLAs. Atishi said that when two Aam Aadmi Party candidates won the 2022 election, there were rumors that they would not last even two months, but they are still with the party, because they have not come to earn money in politics. Atishi was asked the question that if you are not interested in alliance with equal ideology parties, he said that when eight out of 11 MLAs join the BJP, what is the equal ideology?
The Aam Aadmi Party has shown that two of our MLAs were elected and they are still standing with the party. The BJP has also tried to woo our MLAs. He said that we are not interested in such politics, in which winning elections and earning money is the only purpose. We are interested in politics in working for people.
Talking about the party’s defeat in the Delhi assembly elections, Atishi said that the question is not what will happen to the Aam Aadmi Party, but what will happen to the people of Delhi. He said that the BJP has already announced that they will close 250 Mohalla clinics. They have already announced that they will stop free medicine. He said that party leader Arvind Kejriwal had warned that if the Aam Aadmi Party loses, the power cut will start, the quality of education in government schools will be spoiled again and this is already happening.
He said that if you look at the Delhi election, then everything was done from manipulation to misuse of machinery and intimidation of voters. Delhi has never seen such an election before, but despite so much, there was a difference of only two percent votes between BJP and AAP. Atishi alleged that the BJP has not fulfilled its election promise to give Rs 2,500 to the women of Delhi.
He said that the Prime Minister had assured that on March 8, all women will get the first installment in their bank account on Women’s Day. Far from getting installment, registration for the scheme has not started. This shows that the BJP has no intention of fulfilling its promises.
