In a big revelation in the case of murder of a person in Bedia police station area of Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, the police arrested the deceased’s girlfriend and her nephew.
Both were reportedly upset with the deceased, so together they finished his work.
According to police station in-charge Rameshwar Thakur, on April 23, information was received that a decomposed body of a person was found in a field located in village Dudgaon. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and conducted the post-mortem. The report revealed that the cause of death of the youth was suffocation, after which a case of murder was registered and investigation was started.
The deceased was identified as Om Prakash Kaithwas. Police investigation revealed that the deceased had a dispute with his nephew Rohit Kaithwas a few days ago. Also, the deceased had illicit relations with a woman named Saroj Sen for the last 10 years, due to which his wife started living separately with the children. Omprakash lived alone, but his nephew Rohit used to look after him and cook.
Had to sacrifice life for making illicit relations public
It is being told that Saroj Sen was angry that the deceased had publicly mentioned their relationship. At the same time, Saroj’s young son was also troubled by this relationship and the bad reputation it was getting.
First the body was locked in the room, later thrown in the field
According to the police, Saroj Sen and Rohit Kaithwas together conspired to commit the murder. Taking advantage of the opportunity, both of them strangled the sleeping Omprakash to death. After the murder, the body was kept in a room and locked from outside. After a few days, a foul smell started emanating from the dead body, which increased the fear of the matter being exposed. After this, both the accused picked up the body and threw it in the village field, so that the incident could be hidden. The police took swift action in the case and arrested the accused Rohit Kaithwas and Saroj Sen. Both were presented in the court, from where they have been sent to jail.
