New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel pulled off one of the stumpings of the season during his side’s clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday, April 19. Jurel displayed his athleticism and exceptional reflexes to stump KKR all-rounder Cameron Green with a stunning acrobatic effort.
The dismissal took place in the 5th over of KKR’s 156-run chase at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Spinner Ravi Bishnoi bowled a googly down the leg to Green, who was stepping out to attack the spinner. The ball went down the leg far from Green’s reach as he failed to get a connection. Jurel dived towards his left and collected the ball cleanly before throwing it back into the stumps with one hand.
It was nearly a no-look effort from the RR wicket-keeper, who threw the ball while airborne and managed to catch Green short of the crease. Jurel managed to collect the ball and take off the stumps despite losing his balance, leaving his teammates and fans in awe of his effort.

Green came out to bat at no.4 for KKR after a poor start and was looking in good touch. He raced to 27 off 13 balls, laced with 4 fours and a six, before Jurel’s brilliance behind the stumps brought an end to his innings. His dismissal left KKR reeling on 37/3 in the 5th over after they lost both their openers on duck apiece in the first two overs.
