Lord Vishnu’s Incomplete Love: In Sanatan Dharma, Lord Shri Hari Vishnu is considered to be the protector of the universe. Lord Shri Hari Vishnu took many incarnations for the welfare of the world. He took the incarnation of Ram in Tretayuga and ended Lanka’s ruler Ravana and re-established religion on earth. After this, in Dwapar Yuga, Lord Krishna took incarnation and ensured its victory by being on the side of religion in the Mahabharata war.
When Lord Vishnu took the incarnation of Shri Ram, Mother Sita became his better half. Goddess Rukmani became his wife in the incarnation of Shri Krishna, but the love between these two incarnations of Lord Vishnu remained incomplete. Lord Shri Ram was in pain due to separation from Mother Sita and Shri Krishna loved Radha, but she could not meet him. Vrinda’s curse is the reason behind the love of these incarnations of Lord Vishnu remaining incomplete. Let us know this interesting story.
according to legend…
According to the legend, the atrocities of demons had increased in ancient times. The most powerful demon among those demons was Jalandhar. Jalandhar had become invincible. The power of his wife’s devotion made him invincible. Vrinda’s penance and her complete devotion created a divine shield around her husband. The gods started losing in the war. The throne of heaven started shaking. Then all the gods took refuge in Lord Vishnu.
Lord Vishnu knew very well that unless Vrinda’s devotion to husband was broken, Jalandhar would not be destroyed. To protect religion, God took a harsh decision. After this, Lord Vishnu took the form of Jalandhar and appeared in front of Vrinda. Vrinda saw her husband in front of her and at that very moment her tenacity broke. On the other hand, Jalandhar’s armor was destroyed in the battlefield. After this Jalandhar was killed.
Vrinda gave this curse to Lord Vishnu
When Vrinda realized the truth, her soul trembled. Because the God she worshiped had turned her faith into a weapon. There were tears in Vrinda’s eyes. Then she cursed Lord Vishnu and said that just as you snatched away my husband by deceit, similarly the love of each of your incarnations will remain unfulfilled. If you become Ram, you will meet Sita, but your companionship will be taken away. If you become Krishna, you will meet Radha, but you will never be able to meet her completely.
After this, Lord Vishnu said to Vrinda that your curse is not a punishment for me, but a penance. Vrinda was heartbroken. He abandoned his body. A divine light emanated from his body, from which the Tulsi plant was born. After this, Lord Vishnu promised Tulsi that wherever he is worshipped, your position will be high there. My worship will be incomplete without you.
