Vivo has raised prices again on three of its T-series phones in India, the T5 Pro, T5x, and T4 Lite, with increases of up to Rs 3,000 depending on the model and variant.
This comes just weeks after Vivo already hiked prices on the T5x and T4 Lite in late June, meaning some of these phones have now gone up twice in a short stretch.

This Isn’t a One-Off
Vivo hasn’t issued an official statement explaining this specific round of hikes, but the timing lines up with a pattern that’s been playing out across the industry through 2026.
Memory chipmakers have been redirecting production capacity toward high-bandwidth memory used in AI data centres, which has squeezed supply and driven up the cost of the DRAM and NAND that go into every smartphone. Counterpoint Research has estimated that bill-of-materials costs for low-end phones have already risen by roughly 25 percent this year, with mid-range and flagship devices facing a 10 to 15 percent increase in component costs.
Vivo itself already raised prices on a broader set of phones in late June, including the X300 FE, V70 FE, Y51 Pro, Y31 5G, T5x, and T4 Lite, with hikes of up to Rs 7,000 on some models. This latest round pushes T5x and T4 Lite prices up further still, and brings the T5 Pro into a price hike for the first time in this cycle.
