Under the World Heritage Week, there will be no fee for entry into the Taj Mahal in Agra from 19th to 25th November. Not only Taj Mahal, free entry will be available at various protected monuments of Agra. Many events will be organized in these days, in which people will be made aware about preserving all the protected monuments.
On November 19, the first day of Heritage Week, free entry is given to all the monuments. The Archeology Department has started it by inaugurating the painting competition and exhibition at Fatehpur Sikri Memorial. According to the information, the World Heritage Week will be started by the Archeology Department from Fatehpur Sikri Memorial in Agra. During this time there will be a painting competition for school children, in which children from different schools will participate.
All records can be broken
If you want to see Taj on 19th November then avoiding it would be a better option. This day is Sunday and entry is also free, so there is a possibility of huge crowd coming. World Heritage Week is also starting on this day. During this period, all records of crowd at Taj Mahal are likely to be broken. Police on alert
Due to the World Heritage Week starting from 19th November, strict security arrangements will be made on other routes including Taj Mahal. Apart from the police of Tajganj police station, a demand has also been made for forces from other places to control the crowd, who will be deployed here. All these arrangements are being made so that the incidents that happened with tourists in the past are not repeated again.
