There was a fierce fight between two parties over a land dispute in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. During this time, women from both sides also came to fight with sticks. Then the women also thrashed them a lot. Many people got injured in this attack. Actually, there is a dispute going on between the two parties regarding the possession of government land in the village. Today, after an argument, both the parties came face to face, after which there was heavy lathi charge from both the sides.
One party has lodged a complaint in the police station. This case of assault over land dispute is from Ramapur village of Pali police station area of Hardoi district. A video of the fight has also surfaced. It is seen in the video that both the sides are attacking each other with sticks. Some women are seen beating men with sticks. However, men are also seen trying to attack women with sticks. The head of one of the two families between which there was fighting is from Mathura. Whereas, the head of the second family is Ramratan.
There was a dispute on Saturday also
On Saturday too, there was an altercation between the two parties, following which the police took action against both the parties under breach of peace. Today both the parties again clashed over the possession of this land. Hardoi Additional Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar Singh said that in this case, the head of one party, Mathura, has filed a case against Ramratan and his family members.
A police officer said that at present there is peace in the village. Talks have been held with senior people from both sides. The whole matter is of land dispute. It is being told that some children have also been injured in this attack. At the same time, some women have also suffered injuries.
