Patna: A boy dragged his girlfriend with his bike after a fight over marriage. This incident happened in Nalanda, Bihar. The car lost its balance with the girl hanging on the bike and she fell on the roadside. After this the people present there beat up the boy. The video of this entire incident went viral on social media, after which the police has started investigation.
Police said that the girl had come to Rajgir to meet her boyfriend, a resident of Nawada district. Both were in a relationship for a long time and often met in Rajgir. This time during the meeting, the girl again raised the issue of marriage, due to which an argument started between the two. The boy is a survey officer in Nardiganj block of Nawada district. When she refused to marry him, there was a heated argument between them. After this the boy started leaving from there.
As soon as the boy started the bike, the girl caught hold of the bike to stop him. But the boy did not stop the bike and kept dragging the girl on the road for about 100 meters. During this time, people passing by made a video of it and kept shouting at it to stop, which is clearly visible in the viral video. Ultimately the bike lost its balance and both of them fell on the road.

Soon after this the local people came running and saved the girl. Some people present there questioned the boy, but some intervened and calmed down the matter. When people asked the boy, he claimed that the girl was his wife and it was their family matter. Rajgir SHO Abhijeet Kumar said that this incident is four-five days old and the reason behind it is a dispute between the lovers regarding marriage. He also informed that the girl has lodged a complaint at Naradiganj police station in Nawada and legal action is being taken against the accused.
