As soon as Rabada went to defend this, his bat broke. While playing this shot, his eyes were completely closed and he was not in control. Due to this incident the game had to be stopped for some time.

Lahiru Kumara broke the records of two Sri Lankan bowlers before breaking Rabada’s bat and accomplished a big feat. Actually, 27-year-old Lahiru is playing his 33rd match and he has become the third fast bowler for Sri Lanka to take the fastest 100 wickets in Tests. He broke the records of Dilhara Fernando and Dilruan Perera. He has made this record by taking 100 wickets in 5574 balls.

Let us tell you that the record for taking the fastest 100 wickets in Test for Sri Lanka is in the name of Lasith Malinga, who achieved this feat in 5029 balls. Before this match he had taken 99 wickets. In the first innings against South Africa, he took 4 wickets for 79 runs in 17.4 overs. With this he now has a total of 103 wickets in his name. On the other hand, South Africa scored 358 runs in the first innings, in response to which Sri Lankan team had scored 242 runs at the loss of 3 wickets by the end of the second day’s play.
