Two powerful earthquakes occurred in the north-central region of Venezuela, shaking the entire country. According to the information, first there was an earthquake of 7.1 magnitude, after which just 39 seconds a second tremor of 7.5 magnitude was felt. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be near Yumare. There have been reports of heavy damage in many cities including the capital Caracas. Videos and pictures viral on social media show a horrifying scene of devastation, where debris is strewn on the roads, huge concrete pieces of buildings have fallen down and iron rods and debris of collapsed buildings are visible everywhere.
