Mumbai (Maharashtra) [भारत]July 26 (ANI): Vare Energies Ltd’s subsidiary, Vare Renewable Technologies Ltd, has won two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a total capacity of 800 MW AC (1,082 MW peak), the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company said it has received two Letters of Award (LOA) for two solar PV plants with capacities of 400 MW AC/530 MW peak and 400 MW AC/552 MW peak respectively.
“We wish to inform you that Vare Renewable Technologies Limited… has received two Letters of Award for the execution of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for two ground-mounted solar PV plants of 400 MW AC/530 MW peak and 400 MW AC/552 MW peak respectively, with a total capacity of 800 MW,” the company said in its stock exchange filing. Project details and customer information
According to the filing, the contract has been awarded by “one of India’s leading renewable energy companies.” However, the company has not disclosed the name of the client or the value of the contracts. The projects are domestic and include commercial EPC work for utility-scale, ground-mounted solar power plants, the filing said.
Vare Renewable Technologies said that as per the terms of these awards, the projects are to be completed during the financial year 2027-28.
There is no related-party transaction
The company also clarified that the order is not a related-party transaction and neither its promoter nor its promoter group has any interest in the entity awarded the contract. (ANI)
