Varanasi gang rape: 23 darinde, 13 arrests… PM Modi’s displeasure and now DCP Chandrakant Meena

After the incident of gang rape with a 19 -year -old girl in Varanasi, the government has taken major action against DCP Chandrakant Meena. Not one or two, but 23 people raped the woman for a week. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s displeasure in this case, DCP Chandrakant Meena has been removed from the post and attached to DGP office Lucknow. In this case, 10 accused are still absconding, in search of the police.

In the Varanasi gang rape case, major action has been taken from the government level. Late night DCP Varuna Zone Chandrakant Meena has been removed from her post and attached to the DGP office. After taking cognizance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is believed that the government has taken this action on the instructions of the PMO. A 19 -year -old girl from Lalpur Pandeypur police station area was gang -raped at different places for a week.

13 accused arrested

A case was filed against 12 nominated and 11 unidentified accused in this case. So far 13 accused have been arrested. Police say that efforts are on to arrest the remaining accused. Even after the gangrape case, the situation did not improve, on Monday, the incident of molesting a five -year -old innocent has come to light in Lalpur Pandey Pur police station area.

The victim referred to the higher center

The gang rape victim is undergoing treatment at BHU Hospital. The investigation of the district hospital had revealed that the victim is infected with Hepatitis-B. The victim is feeling weak. Therefore, she has been referred to Higher Center for better treatment. PM Modi is being said to be serious about the growing female crime in Varanasi. As a result of this, Varanasi Police Commissionerate is campaigning to stop crime.

Police is conducting raids
