When to observe Varada Chaturthi fast 2026?
According to the Panchang, Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Adhik month of Jyeshtha will start from 02:18 pm on Tuesday, May 19, which will continue till 11:07 am the next day i.e. Wednesday, May 20. Since the sunrise of Chaturthi Tithi will be on 20th May, hence Varda Chaturthi fast will be observed on this day.

Varada Chaturthi fasting and worship method
– On Wednesday, May 20, wake up early in the morning, take bath etc. and take a resolution to fast and worship. Make complete preparations for the puja before the auspicious time.
– When the auspicious time starts, install the idol of Lord Ganesha at a clean place in the house, apply tilak and garland it with flowers.
After this, also light a lamp of pure ghee. Offer Roli, Durva, clothes, sacred thread, abeer, gulal, paan etc. to Lord Ganesha.
– During the puja, keep chanting the mantra Om Gan Ganpataye Namah in your mind. Offer Motichoor laddus to God.
– After this, do Aarti of God with the family. When the moon rises at night, offer Ardha with water and offer flowers, rice and kumkum.
– By observing the fast on Ekadant Sankashti Chaturthi in this way, happiness, prosperity and peace remains in the house and troubles also get eliminated.
