Vaibhav Sooryavanshi- Rohit Sharma: After winning the home series against Afghanistan, India now faces the challenge of Ireland, where the match will be played in T20 format. Team India will not only get a new T20 captain from the Ireland tour, apart from this, 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi can also be seen making his debut on this tour. After scoring more than 700 runs in IPL 2026, Vaibhav has been selected in the T20 team for the tour of Ireland as well as England. If Vaibhav gets a chance to play in Ireland, his debut will also be seen on the same ground on which Rohit Sharma played the first match of his international career.

Rohit made his debut in Belfast in 2007

Rohit Sharma played the first match of his international career as an ODI in the year 2007. He made his international debut at the Civil Service Cricket Club ground in Belfast, Ireland. However, Rohit did not get a chance to bat in that match because India had achieved the target of 194 runs in 50 overs against Ireland due to the strong innings of Sourav Ganguly and Gautam Gambhir. India won that match in Belfast by 9 wickets, which was also the debut match of Rohit Sharma.

Will Vaibhav Suryavanshi also debut in Belfast on 26th June?

Now Vaibhav Suryavanshi will also be in Belfast for his first international match with senior team India. Looking at his performance in the T20 format, it seems certain that he will play in the first T20 against Ireland on the ground in Belfast. If this happens, then the date of June 26 will become the date of international debut of 15 year old Vaibhav in cricket history.
