Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: The journey of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026 came to an end in Qualifier 2. In the match played in New Chandigarh on 29th May, Gujarat Titans defeated them by 7 wickets and got the ticket for the final to be held on 31st May in Ahmedabad. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was heartbroken after Rajasthan Royals were out of IPL 2026. He acknowledged the shock of the defeat and was also seen saying sorry. Vaibhav Suryavanshi shared an Insta story after the defeat to Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2, in which he mentioned his feelings after the defeat. In the same story, he said sorry twice, to the people who trusted and supported him and the Rajasthan Royals team. Vaibhav Suryavanshi apologized twice for his and his team’s failures. After saying sorry, he also promised to make a strong comeback next season.

Talking about the Qualifier 2 match, Rajasthan Royals, batting first, scored 214 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 96 runs played a big role in helping Rajasthan reach this score. Vaibhav had scored 96 runs in 47 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 8 fours. Apart from Vaibhav, Jadeja scored 45 runs and Donovan Ferreira scored 38 runs. Both these batsmen remained unbeaten.

Gujarat Titans got the target of 215 runs to win, which they achieved by losing 3 wickets in the first 8 balls. Gujarat’s captain Shubman Gill played a big role in his victory, who scored a brilliant century. Gill scored 104 runs on 53 balls. Apart from him, Sai Sudarshan scored 58 runs. Gujarat Titans will now face RCB in the final on May 31, which will be played in Ahmedabad.
