Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told in the Pratibha Samman ceremony organized in Roorkee that 562 Vidya Bharti schools are run in Uttarakhand, where 1.25 lakh students study. Also informed about 27 products of the state getting GI tag.
Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Monday that Vidya Bharti’s education network is continuously strengthening in the state. He said that at present 562 schools of the organization are running in the state, where about 1.25 lakh students are getting education. The Chief Minister said that Vidya Bharti has played an important role in spreading Indian values and ideas along with education to every section of the society.
Vidya Bharati Schools Uttarakhand: Education campaign reached every village
Praising the work of Vidya Bharti, Chief Minister Dhami said that today the organization has reached almost every area of the state. He said that he himself has been associated with this organization for a long time, hence knows its working style and dedication closely. He said that even in difficult circumstances, the teachers and officials of Vidya Bharti made remarkable contributions to the society and the field of education. Today, approximately 1.25 lakh students are receiving education in the organization’s 562 schools, which shows its wide reach and impact.
CM Dhami reached Roorkee’s talent honor ceremony
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday attended the ‘Pratibha Samman Ceremony’ organized at a Government Secondary School in Roorkee in Haridwar district. This program was organized by Vidya Bharati All India Institute of Education. During the program, he honored the students and said that along with education, values are also an important part of life.
27 products of Uttarakhand got GI tag, local people will benefit
Chief Minister Dhami also mentioned the achievements of the state on social media platform X. He said that the Uttarakhand government is continuously working to give not only national but also global recognition to the state’s rich cultural heritage, traditional handicrafts and local products.
He told that till now 27 products of Uttarakhand have got GI (Geographical Indication) tag. This has created a distinct identity for these products and local farmers, artisans, people associated with handicrafts and producers are getting better markets, fair prices and new employment opportunities.

Chief Minister also participated in Guru Ravidas Jayanti program
Earlier on July 25, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had attended the state level workshop of ‘Samarsata Sankalp Abhiyan’ organized at a local hotel on Tyagi Road, Dehradun. This program was organized on the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj.
