Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami sanctioned Rs 10.08 crore for road, temple, tourism and amenity projects in various districts of Uttarakhand.

Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial and administrative sanctions worth a total of Rs 10.08 crore to rapidly advance the development schemes and construction works related to public interest in various districts of the state. The purpose of these approvals is to expand infrastructure facilities, develop religious places and improve connectivity routes.

The Chief Minister said that the government is making continuous efforts for balanced and holistic development in the state, so that better facilities can be provided to the local people.

Pithoragarh Development: Temple development and road construction projects approved

Approval of Rs 1.42 crore has been given to develop Shri Harichand Devta Temple located in Didihat assembly constituency of Pithoragarh district under the master plan. Apart from this, Rs 70.87 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of internal link road in Lohargaon and Rs 63.39 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification and construction works of Batkeshwar temple and pilgrimage site located in Kharkadesh Patti. Approval of Rs 81.43 lakh has also been given for the construction of a walkway from Nanda Temple to Kholi Ban in village Uchchaidi of Dharchula assembly constituency.

Almora Projects: Promotion of temple beautification and hand pump installation

Rs 53.51 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction and beautification works of Shiva temple located at Bhikiyasain in Salt assembly constituency of Almora district. At the same time, Rs 98.25 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification of the ancient Gopeshwar Mahadev temple located in Someshwar assembly constituency, construction of ghat and construction of safety check dam. Financial and administrative approval of Rs 42.98 lakh has been granted for setting up 50 hand pumps in various villages of Someshwar area.

Pauri Garhwal Projects: Beatles Street and road improvement plans approved

Rs 85.74 lakh has been sanctioned to develop the approach road from Janaki Bridge to Chaurasi Kutiya as Beatles Street in Yamkeshwar Assembly constituency of Pauri district. Under the state plan, Rs 95.66 lakh has been sanctioned for the asphalting and improvement work of Sankarsain-Barsila-Bagad motor road in Pabau development block of Srinagar assembly constituency. Along with this, approval of Rs 46.19 lakh has been given for the construction of motor road till BRC Kotli village. A total of Rs 1.42 crore will be spent on these two schemes.

Champawat Development: Emphasis on beautification of religious places

Rs 75 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification of the Shiva temple located in Gram Panchayat Dungrifartyal in Lohaghat assembly constituency of Champawat district. Apart from this, Rs 25 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification work of Maa Kardai temple located in Gram Panchayat Moturaj.

Nainital Projects: Approval given for construction of Dharamshala

A total of Rs 87.95 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of one Dharamshala each at Kaidagaon Bug site of Okhalkanda block and Mauni Baba Ashram in Dhari under Bhimtal assembly constituency of Nainital district. These projects will provide better facilities to devotees and tourists.

Dehradun Education Infrastructure: Amount sanctioned for Women’s Inter College

The remaining amount of Rs 39.996 lakh has been sanctioned for painting, painting and repair works in Shri Gurunanak Public Women’s Inter College, Khurbuda, Dehradun. With this amount the basic facilities of the school will be improved.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Statement: Tourism and regional development will get a boost

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is continuously working for the conservation of religious places, tourism development, improving road connectivity and expansion of public facilities. He said that completion of these schemes will boost employment and tourism activities at the local level.
