Samajwadi Party has got a shock due to the results of by-elections held on 9 seats of Uttar Pradesh Assembly. The results were opposite to what the party had expected. Out of 9 seats, BJP alliance has got 7 seats and SP has got only 2 seats. On Sunday, November 24, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Brajesh Pathak targeted SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and said that due to the election results, the ground has slipped from under the feet of SP. Akhilesh is not able to accept his defeat.
Actually, Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that there was rigging in the elections. In a press conference he said that BJP has misused power. The SP chief alleged electronic booth capturing during the by-elections and said that if the Election Commission gets the EVMs forensically examined, the situation will become clear and the truth will be revealed to everyone.
‘Akhilesh Yadav is unable to digest the defeat’
Deputy Chief Minister Pathak has retaliated on these allegations of Akhilesh. During a press conference, he taunted that why is there a burning sensation in the chest, like a storm in the eyes, why is everyone in the Saifai family upset. He said that the ground has slipped under the feet of SP and Akhilesh Yadav is not able to accept this defeat.
Along with this, the Deputy Chief Minister raised questions on Pa’s rule and his policies. He said that SP leaders are known for hooliganism, vulgarity and anarchy. Referring to the incidents of Kannauj, Ayodhya and Karhal, Pathak said that when SP leaders commit atrocities against Dalit and OBC (Other Backward Class) women, Akhilesh Yadav does not open his mouth and remains silent.

He further said that Akhilesh Yadav misleads the public with false promises. Pathak said that during the Lok Sabha elections, these people deceived the people of the country by saying that the Constitution was in danger. It was also said that Rs 8,000 each would be given to the women, however, later the women also surrounded their offices, which was seen by the entire country. The public has come to know their reality and have now completely rejected them.
‘Samajwadi Party has no faith in democracy’
He said that Samajwadi Party does not have faith in democracy. When the Election Commission had conducted the Lok Sabha elections, the EVMs were good, then the Election Commission was doing very good work. But when these people lose, they raise questions and make allegations. He said that the biggest pain of SP is not only losing the elections, its biggest pain is that they know that their original voters have now gone away from them. He said that whether it is backward class or Dalit community, everyone has done the work of leaving SP. These people also consider Muslims only as voters.
‘The public knows the dark deeds of the red cap people’
Regarding the voting held at Kundarki, he said that the security deposit of his candidate there has been confiscated, BJP has got the maximum votes. He said that these people say that there has been a disturbance in Kundarki, then postal ballot is an example. In the postal ballot, BJP candidate got 68 votes while SP candidate got only 29 votes. He said that the figures show that just as we got 70 percent votes in postal ballot and SP got 30 percent votes, the same trend followed in EVM also. They don’t have the answer to this. He said that the public has come to know about the dark deeds of the Red Cap people, now the public will never forgive them.
