Uttar Pradesh: Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak reached Mohit’s house, met the family and assured of justice.

Politics has intensified in the case of the death of businessman Mohit Pandey in custody at Chinhat police station in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, on Monday, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak and a delegation of opposition Samajwadi Party reached Mohit’s house to meet his family members. UP Deputy CM met Mohit’s family and assured justice to the victim’s family. Meanwhile, BJP MLA Yogesh Shukla from Bakshi Ka Talab seat gave a check of Rs 10 lakh to Mohit’s wife Sushma.

Metropolitan President Anand Devedi was also present along with Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak. During this, he said that the government always stands with the victim’s family. If negligence is found, action will also be taken against higher officials. He said that justice will be provided to the victim’s family by ensuring the arrest of the culprits in this case. No culprit will be spared. Before this, a delegation of Samajwadi Party also reached Mohit’s house.

A check of Rs 1 lakh was given to SP

SP leader Pooja Shukla and party spokesperson Fakrul Hasan were also present along with the Samajwadi Party delegation. During this, SP leaders also handed over a check of Rs 1 lakh on behalf of party president Akhilesh Yadav to the wife of deceased Mohit. At the same time, after this, Akhilesh Yadav took a jibe at the government in gestures without taking anyone’s name. He said that he wished those who took his life could sacrifice their lives as compensation.

He said that a SP delegation also met Mohit’s family and gave them an assistance amount of Rs 1 lakh. Mohit Kumar Pandey, resident of Jainabad, was detained by the police on Saturday in a case. On the same day, his health deteriorated in custody and Mohit died during treatment in the hospital. Mohit’s family members have accused the police of beating him to death.

Mohit’s family met CM Yogi

Meanwhile, on Monday morning, Mohit Pandey’s mother Tapeshwari Devi, wife and child met CM Yogi at the Chief Minister’s residence and expressed their pain. CM Yogi assured the victim’s family that strict action will be taken against the culprits. Also, the Chief Minister has directed to provide compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the victim’s family, housing, free education of children and benefits of government schemes.
