Ustad Amjad Ali Khan’s Wife Subhalakshmi Borooah Khan Makes Her Vocal Debut With Chants For Unity

A new musical chapter begins for Subhalakshmi Borooah Khan, as she makes her much-awaited vocal debut with Chants for Unity. The album will bring together sacred music, Indian classical tradition and a universal message of peace and togetherness. Chants for Unity sees participation from the entire family, where the Bangash brothers and their father, the legendary Sarod Maestro Amjad Ali Khan’s have conceived and composed.

The album features nine tracks with ’s vocals across five sacred compositions — Navagraha Shlokam, Krishna Stuti, Shantakaram, Ya Devi Sarvabhooteshu and Lakshmi Stuti. Her voice brings an intimate, soulful and deeply personal dimension to these timeless compositions, marking a significant new chapter in her own artistic journey.
