In the FIR, victim Vipendra Singh has said that he is a resident of Rewa and works as a cook. He came to Bhopal through his relative. She was kept at Shailendra Singh’s house to cook food and stay there. For this it was decided to pay him a salary of Rs 15 thousand per month.

According to the victim Vipendra Singh, on June 25, he was brought to Shailendra Singh’s house in Neelbad for work. He told that Shailendra Singh, his wife, son Shashank Singh and daughter live in the house.

The young man alleged that after starting work, his family members started finding shortcomings in his work. He told that during this time his mobile was also taken away from him. According to the complaint, after preparing breakfast at around 9 am on June 28, she asked Shailendra Singh to return his mobile, but he refused to give it. After this the controversy increased.

After this he reached the police station with his relative and lodged a complaint.

Giving clarification on the allegations, Shashank Singh said that a young man named Vijendra had come to his house for work. He had claimed that he knew how to cook, but after starting the work it was found that he had no knowledge of cooking. After some time they became suspicious of the young man’s activities. He alleged that Vijendra was taking photographs of different parts of the house. Even photographs of his personal belongings and wardrobe were taken.

He said that the silver idol of Lord Ganesha was also found missing from the house, after which when he interrogated the young man, he started crying. After this he was thrown out of the house.

Shashank told that when he checked Vijendra’s mobile, he found personal photos and videos of the house in it. They allege that the young man was sending these photos and videos to someone else. He said that after throwing her out of the house, he did not inform the police, which he considers to be his mistake. Shashank also said that he has no information about what happened to Vijendra after going out.

Shashank rejected the allegations of assault and said that he did not assault her in any way. He expressed apprehension that the young man might have come with the intention of stealing or might have been sent at someone’s behest. He said that the police has registered an FIR, but he does not have complete information on what basis it has been registered.

At present, the police have started investigating the case on the basis of the complaint. The police is busy recording the statements of both the parties and verifying the entire incident. However, further action in the matter will be taken on the basis of investigation.
